O Level Chemistry Practical Crash Course
Practical 1: 5 or 12 June 2025
12pm - 2:30pm (2.5h)
Identify unknown salts and acids using confirmatory tests and logical deduction.
Perform precision titrations with accurate calculations of unknown concentrations.
Investigate temperature’s effect on reaction rate with structured data analysis.
Learn to structure responses for planning questions related to rate of reaction and titration scenarios.

Identify three unknown salts through multi-step ion testing and data interpretation.
Analyse calcium carbonate content in tablets through real-world acid-base titration.
Measure and calculate enthalpy changes during acid-alkali reactions.
Tackle complex planning questions involving energy changes and quantitative composition analysis.
A Level Chemistry Practical Crash Course

Determination of the change in the oxidation number of a transition metal ion, X2+.
Determination of the kinetics of the iodination of propanone and kinetics planning.
Organic Analysis.
Investigation of some reactions of D-glucose.
